Americans have started a petition to kick Piers Morgan out of the country. Meanwhile, a counter-campaign has been launched in Britain to refuse to take him back.

I hope we can meet the Yanks halfway on this, and put the bugga in the middle of the Atlantic.

I will simply say this.

If we deport Piers for his views, how long will it be before my views are scrutinized?

I am a citizen, I suppose you will call for a hanging or firing squad for me?

First Amendment is meant to protect unpopular speech, just the fact this was given media coverage to the point of deportation, is apalling.

The sheer amount of rubes who knee-jerk signed it is even more apalling.

I can stand up say say, (Pretend I was a journalist, or even relevant) " Hitler had a great mustache, too bad he ruined it for anyone who wants to wear it"

I will be branded by kneejerkers a Nazi, and any other debate that comes up afterwards is moot, because of what I was branded by the media initially.

Because to the press it is not about the truth, but about how much emotion you can stir.

It is called Yellow Journalism, and it has become the status quo.

Edit: I do not agree with Mr. Morgan, but he has a right to state it in this country. DON'T TREAD ON ME!
