She's (semi) famous and (semi) cute. Otherwise no one would even notice. Ten gazillion people get divorced (and a host of other things) every day, and does anyone care??? NO! Learn to understand that the great unwashed masses have lives too! Of course their lives involve reading the gossip mags and talking about it, so I guess we're not that different after all.

It is still non-the-less a human interest story. Many people do many things daily that get broadcast in the news. From zebras escaping to in NY City to kids in a soapbox derby race. These kids are even less famous.

But I agree, in the end it is meaningless and just fills some time slot or webpage space.
