Thanks jim.
![]() I'm going to pencil that one in for next year, looking forward to their new look. Last time I was there was back in the 1990's I had two visits when they had a free pass valid for six months for a free second trip which of course I used.

We probably swapped that plastic/fibreglass model for all the years of work towards JSF's cockpit with our VAAC Harrier.

Yeah, Duxford was £17 and free parking and Hendon was free and ££.50 parking.

No problem, there's a Duxford thread I created here on GT if you want to see some of the treats in store:

![]() In regards to the big stuff, there's a Matilda, Sherman, T-34, Jagdpanther, Mark V WWI tank, a V1, V2, a replica of 'Little Boy', and, somewhat poignantly, a part of the World Trade Center. I just went to their website to find a list of what's there, and it looks like they're going to be refurbishing the place soon, opening a new look in 2014. So it's going to be closed from Jan 2013 to July 2013, and I have no idea what they'll be doing in terms of whether some exhibits will be moved or others kept, ah, it looks like they're all going to Duxford for conservation and storage. So you might have to either act fast or leave it until after the refurb. |

I see that Halifax has fared better than most. They should have that Do-17 soon too.

Yeah, IIRC she was one of those that attacked the Tirpitz and was eventually reclaimed from a fjord...or something along those lines.
