Excellent shots Jim as always. It's been many a moon since I visited Hendon, things have really changed there from the look of it. Keep 'em coming mate

Best regards.

Wonder how much that version of the F35 cost the British Govt?

That Meteor wasn't there when I last went, there was a Ki-1001b, but that looks to have been moved to Cosford. The F-35 wasn't there either.

I think I will be paying a visit there next time I'm in the area.

As far as I've been led to believe it's a model...could be wrong of course.

As the thread progresses you may notice a few new exhibits, hopefully.

Was a bit disappointed with the V1, was hoping she'd be vertical.

Edit: Meant V2

Yeah, but at least you can have a good look at the innards of it.
The main Imperial War Museum in inner London has a V2 standing upright, not far from a Polaris SLBM, makes for an interesting comparison.

You've just ensured that has gone on the list of 'places yet to visit' for The Quality Street Gang

We are also planning an overnight visit (flying via Bristol) to The Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeoviltan.

Niiice. I can also recommend the Royal Artillery Museum in Woolwich for a good look at...well...Artillery, over the years. Not much to see in terms of aircraft, but some nice cannons, and a Maxim gun or two.

Here's one of my pics from the IWM to whet your appetite:
