Anyone fancy some Arma2 tonight? Takistani desert with random public players is getting boring real quick.

It's rather unfortunate, though, that there are some obvious cashgrabs being developed alongside with it, like WarZ, for example.

WarZ was in production long before DayZ.

Just tried ArmA2 with DayZ and I have to say I am not impressed. I ran down from Berezino, following the coast to Nizhnoye, Solnichiy, Tulga and Kamyshovo. I did not find one item (weapon, food, water, etc). Just an empty wasteland with a bunch of zombies. Finally decided to offer myself to them since I was going to die of thirst soon anyways.

Not impressed with all the hubbub. Hopefully the next time I play it I will actually find something. Which seems odd to me since in every Let's Play I've seen the people run into a building and voila, food, guns, ammo or any other little object. I had trouble finding houses I could get into let alone find items in.

If you open that up in your Steam browser Krauter. It should help you find food, weapons, guns and ammo etc a lot easier.

Thanks!

Hmm, seems if I play with this "Play with Six" Utility I can't get the Steam overlay?

Edit: Also, I thought the servers saved your location and inventory? I've logged onto 3 different servers and started in 3 different locations with a new character.

Now and then, mostly in the weekends I run my own server, a bit modified version of the zombie sandbox. A Day-z light or something.
Last weekend I got harrased by hackers, and going to gather some good people and password the server.
If you like to join upcomming weekend, please PM me.
Might take a couple of days to answer, i am away this week and back at friday.
