First of all, that AA gun is never supposed to be used. It's kind of like that poster of the frog shooting a bird at an eagle about to snatch and eat him. If you're using your AA gun you've already screwed the pooch.

The proper way to treat aircraft is never to be seen by them. Read it again. Because no matter what your mod configuration, when you start shooting your little popgun (it's been suggested that pointing with a finger and saying blam! Blam! would be more effective) that airplane has already called in all his airplane buddies to ruin your day. It makes no difference whether you shoot THIS guy down or not. You are already in deep kaka and the only easy way out involves death......yours!

All the airplane mods in the world won't help you if you keep broadcasting your fat juicy target self to the enemy by shooting that laundry drier at their planes. If you just follow the rule, you don't NEED a plane mod. If you find yourself in one of the overflight corridors, you'll just move out of it and wonder what all the fuss was about.

DON'T BE SEEN. That's rule one through twelve of piloting a submarine.
