I saw them in 65 or 65 I am not sure which.I do remember my father complaining that it cost six dollars to get in.

I was a wide eyed twelve year old when they first came on the scene. They sparked an interest in R&B and the blues that has lasted to this day. I also started playing guitar to their music.

That was, at once, a great and weird video. The Stones had forgotten that Charlie had to sit down to play, so, when the foam/suds sarted to pour onto the set, Charlie, being the great stoic he is, continued to play as his head disappeared benath the incoming wave. The expressions of surprise and mirth by the other band members toward the end of the video are very real as they realized Charlie was being engulfed...

They'd already been a band two years before I was born

and their still going strong

My wish would be for their 50th anniversary concert turns into a 50th anniversary world tour ,I'd be lining up for a ticket right now if that happened
