In the effort of saving you a bit of frustration...
I've played a few of the bigger mods. But I think most of our problems are coming from too much modding. I tend to play with as few mods as possible but still provide what I'm looking for. For me, it's just passing time and sinking ships with what is provided. I don't need fancy equipment to make it easy. But I do like it pretty. Very pretty if possible. I also like it accurate if I can get it. But as long as it's fun at the end of the day is really all that matters. I've been testing mods for the last week and I think I have a fairly stable mod list right now. But there are still a few bugs in the game and I think they are in the base part of the game and not the mods. For instance, I just had to save and quit SH5 because the rain drops were not being removed from the screen any more. I've been on a long (2 week) patrol and have sunk 51000 tons so far. On my way back. Anyway, my mod list, if you like a pretty but simple... Remove Electric Torpedo Wakes sobers see thru wake fix Unterseeboot II SFX Real Environment - Revision_3 CSPMagui by DrJones Beta v 2.0 CSP_MaGUI_Beata_2_0_English_Menu_txt Depth_Keeping_Problem_HB_2_0_0_TheDarkWraith The boat behaves pretty good and I have just watched Das Boot (again) to verify that the boat float level is correct and bob and sway looks correct. Outstanding job TDW, you did very well on that. Well, back to the mission... ![]() |
