And it depends on your ability to digest and imune system.
I remember when we were teenagers we'd camp by a local river and drink that water without boiling it first. And the camp side was downriver from an industrial town, a sewage treatment plant and a hydroelectric dam. Never felt ill. A cityslicker would probibly die ![]() |
