As you can see above in my list I don´t really use any env mod. I only use the high resolution underwater rocks/flora from Din.Env that don´t have any file that overwrite sub´s files. Anyhow don´t forget that it´s a intermitent problem, not all the time. I´m playing in the last two hours and the problem didn´t happened again.
I will maintain this thread alive as I found any news/clue on the matter.

I have had that happen a few times. I teleport back to the attack scope and then again to the bridge. most of the time they return with me.

It's also worth noting that alt-tabbing in/out of game also causes problems for the watch crew - not going below when diving and not appearing when surfaced.

If you do alt-tab during SH5, don't - and you might see an improvement.
