Don't worry Jim, I don't intend on taking those pills (yet). I got enough drugs in me for my asthma.

And Hottentot, you're right, my dog has been more of a stress reliever than any pill ever invented, but his age and his medical condition are actually putting me in more stress

Aye, I can relate to that. With old dogs worrying about them makes sense, but I occasionally tend to be almost paranoid even with young dogs.
"Are his ears clean?"
"Are his teeth in good condition?"
"Is that red in his eyes? Oh noes, they must be infected!"
"Did he just eat something poisonous from the ground?!"
"Did we wait long enough after exercise before giving food? What if his stomach starts turning around?" (No idea how it's called in English, but you know that lovely condition that kills your dog in front of your eyes in, like, hours tops).

And don't even get me started on how much I worry about the puppies. It's ridiculous, I know, but what can you do? We have a saying, roughly translated: "The knowledge increases the pain": knowing due to work experience all the things that can go wrong with the dogs, I can't really help it.

The honey schnaps should kill any viruses in my stomach. At least the quantitiy I just drank. Pheeeew

@Hottentot:

Tell me about it, how the whole family went banans when Aros (my labrador) threw up for no reason and almost plowing the backyard so he wouldn't eat some poisonus shrubs.... But he's 11 and still kicking so the new round of worrying is here, everytime he has trouble getting up or having no apetite
A Labrador with no apetite is a dead Labrador

There's an exception to every rule...

...except that one.

Status update from General Games section: the story is now finished. But the war goes on!

It’s so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid to say and then don’t say it.

You're wrong there. An idiot will say something idiotic because he will think that it is wise.

You know what hurts more than a wound that has been burning you for almost two years?

Cutting off the infected limb with an axe and trying to convince yourself that it was the only right decision.

Sigh. Expletive.

Someone pass me the vodka.

I'm being poetic. Would work better if I could afford to be drunk.

Unfortunately, a casual observation of any committee will convince you that none of us is as dumb as all of us.
