I just think it's funny that he took so much issue with what I said (citing two things that Jesus, you know, actually did) that it caused him to launch into this political tirade.

I think its funny that he must know he screwed himself up but is still digging himself deeper trying to stand by it

And neither did anything I said. I could have said "driven out demons" or "have a brother named James" and nothing would have changed. I literally named two things Jesus would (did) do.

A lot of the consternation that I see from the right on this matter is along the lines of "hey, that's our thing, get your own". I don't see why the left should not be given a chance to pervert Christianity. The right has been doing it for years.
