There's all sorts of groups and ideology's out there that use Christ, the bible, and christiantiy in general to further their own ideas or agenda's. From Democrat's, to Republicans, right on down the gutter to white supremacist and racist groups. Personally, i'm disgusted by it all. They all preach compassion, and understanding, yet the posses none of these qualities themselves. So, excuse me while I not pay attention to ANYONE who pulls out the Christ card in any way, shape, form, capacity, or context.

Good point. Everyone wants the moral high ground, and what higher ground to try and take than Jesus?

Good points and I agree. That's why I'm disgusted with the occupy movement doing this.

I see: a discussion goes like this now:
claiming something and when asked for something to back up that claim, saying: "Oh, you can't proof the opposite!"

So lefties can't be Christians, because they all see Jesus as a socialist, and some German guy said 150 years ago that religion is opium for the masses? Or are all left Christians thus Junkies?

And the leftists perverts this to fit their desire to feel good about themselves for "caring" without actually making any personal effort or sacrifice.

Oh yes, because it's all only righties who work without pay in organizations for the poor, just the same as only conservatives are affected by taxes. And of course it's the right that are the only ones who do voluntary donations...
