I bet its a running out of memory issue . People should try the lite version .

I was kinda thinking the same thing, but I am using lite version (but with additional ships). I hauled out a few mods trying to lighten my ram ballast, but I didn't really want to throw the OHII additional ships overboard.
I will try the test mission with and without the extra ships and sitrep later.
