It was summer. And we were out on a field trip. It actually felt that I needed all that water, since not much of it came out the traditional way.

but seriusly, Joegrundman is right. A human is not a camel, you don't store large amounts of water for later.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_intoxication

It IS possible to drink too much water, and it can even be fatal as you can see. Of course for most people in normal situation, their body does a decent job of telling when to stop.

A meeting of 21 scientists in Parma, Italy, concluded that reduced water content in the body was a symptom of dehydration and not something that drinking water could subsequently control.

Reduced water is a symptom of dehydration??

I think their cart and horse are in the wrong juxtaposition.

Thamk you Respenus. Behind every stupid law there is usually a reason.. How good it is might differ, but things are usually more complicated than first assumed.

It is like people ridiculing the cucumber law(specifying the dimensions of cucumbers to be sold in EU). It sounds strange but the reason is quite logical (still wrong, but logical). Someone discovered that cucumbers made inside the EU had less variation than those produced outside, and since trade embargoes are restricted through the WTO someone found a smart way for protectionism.. Logical reasons for illogical laws

There is always the other side of the story.

But still, it was rather amusing as it was presented.
