It can't help anyone when the Senate won't even consider them. As for corporate welfare acts - who do you think employs people? If you want to bring up taxes on corporations - you do realize that all they do is pass the "tax" cost on to the consumer - you and I - anyway right? So lightening the tax burden lighten's everyones load.

I still want to know where the "jobs' are that they ran on.

People say that Obama hasn't had time to fix things - yet you have some expectation that one half of one third of the government is going to accomplish everything after being in office less than a year. If that is your expectation, you need to make sure you vote for whichever candidate claims to be a fairy with a magic wand - and I am not talking about the Barney Frank kind....

There is plenty on both sides to hate - they both are responsible for landing us in this mess. The problem is your hate tends to be selective. Ok, you don't like Obama. Thats one Democrat you don't care for. You don't like "repuglicans" - which is an entire spectrum of people. Seems your hatred is generalized on one hand, and rather selective on the other.

So whats your view on Mitch McConnel and open obstructionism? That is good?

My view on that is that Mitch opened his big mouth before thinking. Had he been smart, he would have said "When it gets to us, we will see what happens". The reality is - Harry Reid can't get the bill passed in the senate anyway - so complaining about Mitch is kind of moot.

Of course - as I pointed out earlier - Harry Reid is being just as obstructionist with the passed House Bills referenced above - but that selective hate of yours (and so many others "self-hating liberals") don't seem to care to discuss that.

The thing to realize here soopa, is that we have been on this stimulus track for a fair while now - and have nothing but more debt to show for it. Make no mistake, the "jobs" bill is not about jobs, its about more stimulus. That has failed. Its time to go a different direction - and the left - from Pelosi, Reid, Obama, and the rest of the "power players' are doing all they can to keep that from happening. Its in THEIR best interest to ignore the proposals of the other side, then claim the other side is "doing nothing".

No, I corrected a couple of mistatements, and advised you to go check your facts before you make claims that you can't back up. That isn't talking down to you. Hate that you feel that way, but knowledge is power, and I'd rather see you informed with truth.

George Washington advised against the Party system, and he was right. I agree that we need to move beyond it. However, that is a pipe dream unless real ballot access reform happens.
