My Frau did the mistake to invite me to order what I like from the menu, when she celebrated her diploma...

I just polished off a bottle of an Irish whiskey import called "Tullamore Dew". A little sharp compared to Crown Royal but not bad.

I've tried a few, just to be polite mind, and have yet to find a whisk(e)y I like.

Although I've not tried that Midleton's - and at over £100 a bottle I'm not gonna!

I prefer beer and if you talk to Jim or Grant?
Not very good beer in thier opinion.
But for a Whiskey?
I have never had anything I liked better then Maker's Mark.

That is the only Whiskey that could get me to stop drinking cheap beer.
(If it was cheaper!)

True in the 1970s, perhaps. I have half a dozen or more local breweries within 15 minutes of here. All have stouts, porters, IPAs, etc. Even the lagers aren't bad.
