When I want to relieve the watch early, and it's usually because I'm just bored, I'll do it at 1935 for the 8-12, 20-24 watch. ( In which case the other AB will say, "Mate, I've been relieved. Steering course 270 in "Iron Mike", checking course 275. No threating traffic. Have a good watch! And oh, by the way, is there any more of that pumpkin pie left?" )
Anyway, I just thought it would be cool to have "Relieve The Watch" take place on time. (Maybe I've been at sea too long...)

The relieved watch asking for pumpkin pie sounds kinda cool. I was never relieved early, myself. But then, I was shore duty and only stood it twice a month, tops. TAR P-3. Nuff said.
