Lol. Yes, it has a habit of coming down to that, regrdless of how long you plan on hiding in the bushes

So many issues and patches..... Arma 3 will be out next year- is that going to be a big improvement do you reckon?

What I've seen, it seems to add some cool new stuff. Let's just hope they've
learned from the previous titles and polish it up prior to release.

Lol, the subsim clowns! I particularly enjoyed the lengthy tent roof inspection scene and Dowly taking out the T72 and blowing up the car at the same time- Lol!

That sure looks like a lot of fun, I'd be up for a bit of that. Let me know if you need more nutters.

This might be a mission some of you fancy trying, we do this with the EG group on a Sunday night:

Single Player Prologue:

Co-op part 1:

http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=14211

and part 2:

http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=14632

Zombie survival Arma-style, no mods required, just needs Combined Ops to run. Needs a good four or five players to survive it - ammo conservation is essential - but the atmosphere is brilliant, and the way it's coded is masterful. Try the SP prologue for a flavour of the co-op experience.

If playing as a group it's good to have everyone download it first, as the file's pretty large for an arma mission and can take some time to stream from the host.

Me and a mate tried that the other day, very cool hard as hell with just two of you though haha. Oh and you don't need Combined Ops, it'll run on any ARMA II, my mate is on Free and it worked fine for him

It's alive! It's alive!

*cough* Sorry. I noticed that the 1.60 patch with its supposed fixing of warping in multiplayer and improved AI came out a few weeks ago. Does anyone fancy starting to play this again?

Dunno, really. The past re-starts haven't exactly worked that well.

Well, it doesn't have to be a regular game, but I figured that if multiplayer warping (Which was quite probably my biggest problem with the game) is fixed then it might be worth playing it again once in a while.

I'll set up a dedicated again if there's a want. I'm always up for a game so you'll have to tell me when to run it though.

I know one or two thinking of picking it up again, I used to run a regular night at Eurogamer, so if we pool our forces we could get quite a squad going? Will likely be a week or two before I have enough time to get to it (dissertation to finish) but after that I should be good for a regular-ish night.

I can always give it a bash...my text and screen is rather blurry at the moment but the FPS seems reasonable. I'll have to kick it a few dozen times and see what happens.
