Platapus, you just made my day. I love that movie.

August, That was a good episode too. I try to catch as much of the older Twilight Zone episodes as I can

It's okay I have God. He speaks to me in all my 30 something year like once or twice, maybe 3 times. Spread between 18 years. May or may not contain hidden knowledge(Information/realization gotten in an instant).

Not with voice, not with even impression of words. I replied to sentences that never even crossed my mind nor heard. The assurance came when the words spoken[though no words were spoken] happened later and or a huge inexplicable emotion/feeling came upon me right afterwards confirming what had been said.

Most of the time God never spoke anything though. He either gave me what I prayed for or not at all.

The longest conversation I ever had with the almighty God was 2 sentences.

God initiated a conversation: [nothing]
Me to God: [all of sudden] bla bla bla bla [chain of thoughts uttered in mind] as a response to that [nothing], asking God a question as a reply to his first [nothing].
God answered to my bla bla bla: [inexplicable huge emotion to confirm my question]

Disclaimer: This is not a claim. This is not a proof of either God nor that I'm insane. Thank you. You may not use this in court to defame me. No not under medication except medication for high blood pressure.

Many groups have studied the psycological stresses that result from isolation or an extremely limited social group over extended time periods. Nasa is one example.

Some people can maintain stability - most can not. It has little to do with your "normal" level of socialization, it has much more to do with your ability to focus and block out distraction. By blocking out the need for social interaction with focus on another task, a person can maintain significant stability without perceivable end.

But for how long?? Even if you put a human in a "all alone..." experiment, this person know that there are people outside this "experiment"
and they can return to them.

That is easy to say as we sit here, but take a look at the stanford prison experiment to see how that theory holds up.....

You can intellectually "know" that your in a controlled experiment, but its what you do with that knowledge that matters. The above was just one example of how quickly "fact" is lost in the psychotrauma of experience.

WILSON

I imagine that even with company, being stuck in the same place with the same person for months on end would result in mental deterioration.
I do believe that the two men in command of the missile launch control at specific silos in the States have a pistol sidearm with them. I imagine that several dozen feet under solid concrete and steel and heavy bolted doors that this weapon would not be for being used against an enemy incursion...
