On version two why is there an orge out line on some of the hole?

When you see it in-game it looks like the interior is burning.

I must admit to preferring version 1.

I can't seem to get GWX3 to work, it loads and gets to the main menu but when I try to play a mission or look at the museum it loads to about 95% then it freezes/crashes.

Hard to tell what crashes your game, since you do not use the Mod-Enabler to show the load orders.

You sure you installed ti properly? Most of the game-relevant data, like campaign, ships and so on load after the the main screen.

On a side-note:
AFAIK the enabler has an ini file, where you can enter your custom install-path. SO you should be able to use it with the steam version too!"
I'm not at home so I can't double-check. Somebody please confirm.

actually I had the mod enabler that came with the GWX3 install but none the less I have reverted to the stock SH3 as the time spent fiddling with super mods could be better spent sinking allied ships.

Were you already playing the game before installing GWX? It must be installed over a clean, unmodded, unplayed copy of the game.
