Perhaps Putin driving a Russian T-80 tank and driving it over opposition party HQ and over opposition figures would be more . . . . compelling and more straightforward and effective.

Harley is an American icon btw I don't see anything patriotic about riding them when you're not American.

Harleys are all about image, and Putin is a man who, as danasan already pointed out, knows image and campaigning.

People better be paying attention - Putin has the Cult of Personality in a country that is still defining itself in the 21st century.
