Must admit to being more interested in shipboard engines and generators as a result of my marine engineering days but there are a few interesting models there Chris...I especially like the air dropped variant 'Evinrude'

A few of those are just pieces of art. Polished and beautiful.

These were pieces of art. It looks like many in designed in the 40's-50's were designed like the cars of the time.

Your interests are like mine Jim. These engines as well as others interest me quite a bit. The inboard/shipboard engines, specifically the very old ones are mechanical wonders. The simplicity of these is amazing. However, looking at the size horse power generated leaves me scratching my head. I think it is all things mechanical that I have interest in.
