Anything else you want to know? Go ahead and ask
Ok, I will. Better kisser: Mila Kunis or Natalie Portman? If Jane can dig a hole in 4 hours, and John can dig the same hole in 6 hours, how long will it take for both of them to paint the house together? What was Mary's little lamb's name? Are you warmer wearing flammable or inflammable pajamas? Six isn't twice three when? When it's midnight in London, what day is it at the South Pole? Did you want fries with that? |

I did not think of that. Why buy a rifle that you will not be able to use hardly ever enlisted are not allowed to keep firearms in the dorms so you have to leave in base armory as has been stated with the SPs also your need for self defense drops drastically on a military base all you need then are you fists.
Over seas if you are in Germany I think you can keep a weapon in the armory but not much point as the only place to use is the Rod and Gun Club on base and they have plenty of guns that you can just rest and plink with you cant get a German hunting permit.Japan is a no go as is Korea. If you want to join ANG or Reserves you better get your ass on the ball and enlist right now delayed entry because those two are very limited in the AF assuming they have any slots available. Have you even spoken to a recruiter yet? I think not even back in the mid 1990's when I joined you had to enlist delayed entry if you where in HS other wise you might have to wait a whole year or more. Also if you want to become a pilot your best bet is to enroll in a college Air Force ROTC program completing that and taking the tests in your senior year to see if you even qualify to get into flight school and go from there. If start as an enlisted man you are adding 6 or 8 years to that time span assuming you get into OCS or Boot Strap. The other route is to serve at least 4 good years as an enlisted (though you'd need to have been an NCO to improve your chances) then enroll in the US Army program that takes enlisted men and trains them to be helicopter pilots as Warrant officers though that is gong to be very hard only the best of the best get to fly the AH-64. In my day they if you had less than 50 overall ASVAB the AF did not even speak to you at all ideally you will need to have a high score in two categories like mechanical and electrical other wise they might pass on you nowadays. Some AF tech training is very hard (mine was and so where the other fields in my squadron) and they will not hold your hand if you do not study and you fail they will simply wash you back three times then you get kicked out.In some jobs like EOD you can not fail ever or they send you to another job(in that case because of the very high skill EOD requires your still usable else where.)another job that has a zero fail is boom operator(inflight refueling) the boom is controlled by an enlisted man that course you can not fail. I am saying theses things because based on what you say compared to what you do I dont think you are going to make it in the military.I was already in the delayed entry program for the USAF at the same point(17) in my life as you I was already putting my plans into action. P.S. You are going to have to contact an AF recruiter they wont call you I find your weight excuse to be bogus unless you are 400 pounds they will allow in any branch a guy to be over or under weight by some degree. There where guys in my flight that are the same size that you appear to be in that picture you posted a while back with the teacher in the pink room so stop making excuses or stories and man up or don't. Yeah i did the same. I went into DEP,, at or about a full year before I graduated High school if i remember correctly. I had my MEPS departure date memorized. Still do iin fact. August 6th, 1992. Longest day of my life. As ASVAB scores go, orignally i was going to join the army. I took the ASVAB, scored a 98 in mechanical, and had the AF recruiter calling me the VERY next day. I don't know how he convinced me to switch branch's but he did. As it turned out though, i ended up going into CE (both Red horse and Prime Beef), so in hindsight, probably not much of a difference had I joined the army instead. |

Actually, I do plan on going into politics haha. I want to be a senator at some point. I follow political affairs closely - and - at some point within the last 3 years - I got so fed up with Congress that I decided I'll have to get in there myself some day.

Yeah MEPS was fun(sarcasm) If you do DEP you have to go at least twice as well once to get into the DEP and then the day that you ship out I guess that goes for everyone through.I dont honestly recall the date of the first time(I know that it was near the end of my junior year) but the second one was June 14th 1995 I went to the MEPS station in Jacksonville FL and for some reason they like it very cold in that place and they gave us some crappy ham sandwiches for lunch but I was a little to excited to really eat much.
Anthony are you certain that you are not already a US Congressman? ![]() You sure sound like one: I will lower your taxes er no now our state needs this pork barrel program so I will raise taxes in so that we get that pork barrel program.....Sounds alot like I want to sell my car and this car no now want to keep my car and do this...sounds like a law maker to me. You can have an effect on Congress when you turn 18 by voting. |

I think he posted that he only has one job for the summer. What a nice guy he wants young folks that lack his future Congressman powers to have a fair chance at working.
By working 3 jobs some of the year he will be in touch with the "common man" and list this fact in his future campaign aids also by having an inheritance yet still working it will show that he can effectively manage money and will be able to get his state the best pork barrel projects. |
