Grant! That is terrible!
I saw 2 truck drivers get hit by trains years ago in two different accidents outside of where I worked at the time. We all ran out to do what we could but it was very bad in one instance. The other, the driver was very luck and waded away through several feet of female products. Both sights were very un-nerveing. Everytime I cross that crossing I kind of flash back somewhat. I try to avoid going that way if at all possible to this day. I also can not go down the female products isle at stores any longer! ![]() |

Thanks Gents. posting and reading here is helping as well. Had a rough nights sleep as it was hard to get that image out of my mind.

Well, The driver that stumbled through the female products
did have his bleeding stopped pretty quickly. But it was not a sight any normal Male would EVER want to see again. ![]() The little trash can in the Lue is bad enuff! Let alone a semi load of the bloody things! ![]() |

Something I wouldn't want to witness. Remember few years back a truckie use to come into work to have a chat one day he came in looking like he seen a ghost. Told us he was driving on his way back to the depot where he notice a young man walking along the side of the road as he got close the guy jump out in front of him, last thing that stayed with him was the guys eyes looking straight at him. He moved to another area to work as he couldn't bear driving past that part of the road everyday.

Back in 84 when I was on the fence line at Gitmo, I got to see a squad of Cuban soldiers trip off one of their own anti tank mines, it was a hell of a sight, even at a half mile away, needless to say none of them lived to tell the tale.

My brother-in-law had been a engineer for Amtrak for 20 years, can he tell the stories of people he's hit. What's hard, no matter what he must slow the train down correctly regardless in steps, so no such thing as slamming on breaks. The only time they can do quicker stops are certain events, terror, ect.. A few years ago he saw a young naked lady almost a mile down the line, as he got closer it was obvious she was gonna stay and she did.....I could think of much easier ways to do myself in than become train goo.
They actually video these events, but I don't think any have been released. |
