A conflict may be obvious, like a corrupt file ... if you have had many CTD.And save close to land, and the ship is not recommended.

Corrupt savegames are an unfortunate fact of life with SH3, it's a known issue from the stock game. As Vendor has indicated, saving close to land or within contact range of other units is not recommended as it seems to increase the possibility of a corrupted save and/or CTD on loading. Saving when submerged can also cause problems.
The general consensus seems to be that you are safest when you save only while surfaced, and only when you are not within contact range (visual or via hydrophones) of land or any other units. It's not guaranteed to prevent the occasional corrupted save, but it will make it less likely to happen. |

What are your system specs? There is a remote possibility that you're just asking too much of your computer.
On the other hand you have some redundancy there. Lifeboats & Debris and Wooden Lifeboats overwrite each other. I don't think there's a compatibility problem, but whichever one you installed last will work and the other one won't, so there's no need for both.

The Merged Campaign is probably overkill as well unless you've got a kickbutt system, it loads everything from every theater of operations. The campaign files are larger because of that. Unless you're traversing from the Atlantic to the Med to the Indian Ocean and back constantly in the course of a career, you don't need it. Stick with the campaign files that come with GWX 3 Wilhemshafen,St Naz,Schluese And Xtra ships V6 and just enable the Indian Ocean or Mediterranean campaign files separately if and when you're operating in those areas.
And I'm not sure but I seem to remember that Conning Tower Open Hatch 0.93 Food was designed for FM New Interiors, which I don't see enabled. It's possible that there's a CTOH for DD's Open Hatch mod, so I could be wrong. A lot of the other mods in the list I'm too unfamiliar with to know if they could be causing compatibility issues. |

As Steve said, you're looking at a heavy mod load with a fair bit of redundancy...
I'd start by disabling a few of the larger mods, such as: Racerboy SH4 Effects For SH3 2.03 and Aces' Super Pens 4 GWX3 Version. Second, I'd go with FK's advice and ditch anything related to FM Interiors, such as: Conning Tower Open Hatch 0.93 Food and CT FM NI Fix For MaGui F. (No need having fixes if you're not even running the base mod). Third, while not likely causing your current issue, you've got some sound redundancies between Thomsens Sound Pack 3.0 and Spirit Of Machines. The one is likely overwriting part of the other so you're basically copying extra files which are not actually in use. Try disabling the larger mods one at a time and then run a test patrol, save and try reloading. Good luck! ![]() |
