Are you running a 3GB RAM switch so the game utilizes 3 instead of 2 gigs of RAM? If so, turn that off. I had all sorts of CTDs with it on so I disabled it and it solved my ctd problem.

try reinstalling NetFramework.
also make sure you have plenty of cool air running through the machine.(clean Fans+Add Fans). update video drivers .
