My SH5 is crashing all time, help please ...
Hi all ,
I have some problems with my SH5. Some time i have a black screen, some other time a "video out of sector", but my biggest problem is that the game is crashing all time after a few minutes of gaming. What can i do to resolve this last point please ? Do you think than that may come from my parameters of configuration, or from my mods order ? You'll find here my system's configuration and some screen shots of my mods order, of my game's parameters and of my video card's configuration for SH5: Windows XP SP3 CPU: Intel core 2 duo E8400 3.00Ghz RAM:3.25Go Corsair Dominator DDR2-800 video card: nvidia gtx 260 896Mo Mods order: The antilag.cfg and the d3d9.dll are installed in the root of the game [config] RenderAheadLimit=2 FPSlimit=35 http://img830.imageshack.us/img830/1033/jsme.png game's parameters: http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/2130/videoun.jpg video card's configuration for SH5: http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/5475/84347213.png http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/3809/41926970.jpg Thank you |

Are you running a 3GB RAM switch so the game utilizes 3 instead of 2 gigs of RAM? If so, turn that off. I had all sorts of CTDs with it on so I disabled it and it solved my ctd problem.

I can play only 5 or 15 minutes and the game crashes, even with shadows and vertical sync turned off, and even with net.framework 4 uninstalled. In the event viewer I have " Net Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting" Any idea please ? |
try reinstalling NetFramework.
also make sure you have plenty of cool air running through the machine.(clean Fans+Add Fans). update video drivers . |
the only problem i had faced so far is that there is no deck gun sound or shells impact....i dont know what to do

check to ensure your \data\Library folder didn't get renamed. For some reason mine renamed itself to \data\Library_ :shifty:
