You can just plot an intercept course with the convoy, or slightly ahead of it, and use the reveal enemies ability when you get near the spot it should be. It's not foolproof but after practicing I almost never lose a convoy...plus I don't like the saving/loading thing, kinda feels like cheatin'

(Due to some very exciting mods in the works. I have ended this campaign. To start afresh when these mods are released).

Nah... never made it past Oct 1939, due to restarting when I install new mods. And I've had this game since release.

I like the challenge . So if I add a mod that increases the realism, I start again (but skip the annoying tutorial). As I feel that changing the realism with mods would void all previous patrols. (because I cheated by not playing on full realism).

How do you manage that? Spending more time in MOD's than the game? I quited the game while in the MED. Think will pick it up soon. Its going like SH3, played it for years, and set it aside just as much of a time

@ Lord Tony,
I think you will enjoy if you try a more realistic way of searching targets.

I correct myself, you will never finished the game!

I decided to go on with campaigns and add mods as it goes, when finished (I hope before december 2012, one never knows...) I´ll start again with an "ideal" mod soup and something more realistic than my actual almost arcade mode.

See this link for how to do just about anything in SH5. ----> Link to Stoianm video tutorials

Also see here Link for a list of commonly used mods.

If you need any help, just ask. Most people here would be glad to help.

And welcome to Subsim.
