Problem - Clicking Crash Dive Icon or keyboard key sends me to radio room

I get this using the beta mega mod from DW. I go inside by the attack periscope and press the crash dive icon. I end up in radio.

Then again, I have played vanilla enough to know if this is a stock problem.

Makes no sense to me why I have to run by my men on the bridge without saying a word and as I enter the sub scream 'crash dive!' Bang... I'm in radio listening to some waltz.

I suspect if I hear 'aircraft spotted.' I should in theory press the crash dive key or button and fight my way past my men to get inside.
