Nato is going to lead...

Uhm - you do all realize that this move is nothing but a pr move for the average US citizen, right?

I mean - seriously - who leads nato? SACEUR leads Nato - and that post is always held by an American. Not bragging - just fact. The Canadian Admiral in charge answers to SACEUR.

Not to mention the #1 contributor to NATO? The US.
The second and third? Britain and France.

If you add up the contribution of Britain and France together, multiply it by 2 - you get the same amount that the US does.

Nato leading this means the US is leading this - whether anyone likes it or not.

I am NOT belittling the contributions of others - please understand that. But for the President of the US to claim that the US is no longer leading the way, but that NATO is - is nothing more than a PR stunt to keep the civilians at home happy. Its political BS.
