If GWX4 had been completed it would have been for SH4, so no use here at all.

I've been playing since the game was released six years ago, and have yet to complete a career. My problem is that I feel compelled to start over every time a cool new mod is released.

I think he means an update for GWX3.0. He's right, so many important break throughs have happened since 3.0. Some consolidation would be very welcome. It was great when I could just activate 2 or 3 items in JSGME. Now my list is about 10 long (...and growing).

Agreed, 3.1 would be most welcome indeed...

But is very unlikely, as there has been no GWX team for a couple of years now.

I agree with the making of an update GWX3.1. My list is 70 long and growing

This lead to mod soup as I want to benefit from the fantastic new mods and don't have time to make them compatible with other mods.

Therefore, some mods work, others work partly, others not at all. It's a constant broth and soup combination fight

my damage from fires and depth charge water disturbances don't conflict with anything. So there's no mod-soup from these.
I would never allow these two mods or anything that I make anymore to be included in any kind of GWX update/patch. That bridge was burned a long time ago

I really loved all the mods but just got tired of all the different ones and really started to get confused on what I had loaded. I actually stopped playing for sometime now, but do miss it.

Just got done with a patrol and had 12,000+ tons of fun.

GWX3.0, SHC3, and 11 mods work for me.

@Chubster:

I would advise that you start to play with SH3 without any mods installed at all, at least until you have completed a few patrols.

Otherwise, how will you know how good or bad (or useful) any installed mod is?

Stiebler.
