I dont understand that people say that its just in some places. Its allmost everywhere!! I never gound a spot where you could put the boat on the sea-floor. But it seems that this one is not fixable.

It may be fixable but we need to stumble upon how to fix it.
Nearly all other issues from other versions of SH take someone
messing about to find that clue.

I'm still suspecting a Bones problem in the GR2 files.
They are not viewable in Game but used for many reasons.
It's clear to see that some are located below the Sub and roughly match the bottoming Bug.

the bug can be really annoying at times. Esspesscially when doing a scapa flow kind of mission. I was on the east trying evadeecause DD,s and trying to gain every meter i could because ik only had about 150 meters depth to play with. I got as deep as 130 meters before i hit the " bottem " vegatation seems distorted and the plants look weird becauise the stemd can be as long as a tree. Really look stupid. Word has it that it cannot be fixed because of some weird coding problem.

What mod are you using to get your speed setting and depth gauge?

That would be my UIs mod. You can find it in the SH5 mods workshop I just released v6.4.0 of it yesterday

i think its set so you can never go lower then the highest point within a given range so if you are near a rising formation it can look like you almost get there but it sounds like what is needed is to use magic to raise the visual image to meet the sub and let the game go ahead and still think you are off of the bottom as it seams determined to mandate.

yet you bottom out when beaching the sub shallow so seafloor must be controlled seperate from whats considered to be land

This is the most irritating bug as far as i,m concerned. I once hit the "bottum" while there was at least 30 to 40 meter water underneath me! Such an immersion killer and so obserd!
