I picked up on the "Toymaker" refernce because I'm a perverse Doctor Who fan. I also loved him as Tolstoy in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.
As for both Longitude and Harry Potter, that was Michael Gambon. Michael Gough was mainly a character actor who was in a whole bunch of stuff over a whole lot of years. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001284/
