He have his reasons, its something like "I will not fix their failure". Because make it to work as it does in SH3, means a LOT of work.

But this UI is a piece of art, just check out his original work here. Its so well done and worked out in every little detail, its meant for pro play. Best SH UI evah!

as TDW and Panos ,allready, told you ... 8:5 or 16:10 ratio is the same thing.
yes, this ratio is also supported but have in mind that i tested this ratio at 1680x1050 (my pc can't handle higher resolution at 8:5 ratio).Maybe, Trevally has tested it to higher resolution.
uzo's main use was for taking bearing readings (be warned: i wasn't there back then...just from what i am reading...)

TDW is right...it need a huge amount of work to see MaGui in sh5 ( maybe is not possible at all to work in sh5...don't know this).
what you see in MaGui is the result of a work that started many years ago from all,i can say that,the community ! OLC showed us the right way for the guies (he is the 'father' of the guies),then i used its mod as base to start working on it ,adding ideas,solutions and items from me and all over the community . whats worth it ,imo, found its way in MaGui. yes ,there is a HUGE work behind MaGui that only people who have involved with guies or graphic programms can understand !
now, i am sure that TDW's gui will find its 'way' to the future and i am,also, sure that we will see an excellent gui at the end . till now ,TDW is making the 'dirty' and hard job...to make things working....in the code ! this is the real hard part in modding and TDW is a real talent (but i guess ...you all know it allready) . so far ...his gui looks more like a million buttons all over the place but when the 'dirty' job ends will start the real design (in other words the 'looking' and the arrangement of items) . with TDW's ability to add working buttons at pages (a big limitation in sh3) you can be sure that you will see a real flexible gui at the future !

Hope so, because right now is what keeps me away from TDW UI. Its a graphical mess with all kinda dials and buttons thrown all over, old SH3 style mixed with SH5 style, weird color mixes etc. Hope he will find time when all the script part is done to work on the visual part too.

For now I combined this with Archlight's MRP. At least the scope is looking cool.
Its pretty frustrating that every mod is built around TDW UI, I feel like an outcast...

Yes,100 %. The Work of art, in other words - Magnum Opus. Developers have seen it and ..., have decided "to close the project".

hi Magnum,

you can't combine 'this' with anything !if by 'this' you mean parts of my scope's mod...you can be sure that you just 'messed' your optics.if you do so ,you are just ruining the setup of optics .

'Manos Scopes' is NOT the graphics that you see (i just added the graphics last to the background).look 'behind' the 'scene'. if you change something to my mod you are ruining the fov (in case that you changed the diameter of 'hole') and additionaly the Arclight's scales are totally wrong for use with my mod (my mod is using different angular angles in order to achieve the 38 degrees at fov so you can't 'combine' optic's mods).NO question if you changed the camera's settings...(meaning if you used other camera.cam file than the one included in my mod)

bottom line is that all files of mod are ABSOLUTELY necessery.you can't change none of them

Seems to be working good. I used your cameras.cam and the 2 scope dds. Now I got the sun lens flare back, that was missing in Archlight mod.

MaGui and all Mods TDW - MAGNIFICENT WORK. It is all it is possible to name in a word - "MAGNUM OPUS". The Translation from Latin - Great work, the Big work, the Masterpiece, ........

i don't see where you 'combined' ,as you said , mine mod with Arclight's.
the cameras and the scope's images are from my mod so the only parts that you 'left' out are the images for the aobf tool and its scales...right ?

anyway...it seems to work on stock gui too ! can you post a screen with the attack scope at x1,5 zoom and one with the obs scope at x1,5 ?
( i can't tested it on stock becuase ,for some reason, when i disable TDW's gui ...enormous things are happening to sh5's install..... .'says' some warnings about some scripts that are missing...and main menu is disorted ...aaa...anyway...)
