Going to give U boats a try for a while.SH 3 with GWX or SH 4 with OP Monsun?

Honestly, and this is just my opinion, going (or going back to) SH3 is either a labor of uboat love, or a walk down nostalgia lane as a weekend tourist. For all it's touted immersion, i personally find it really hard to go back to.

Maybe its because i've already played it for a couple years (in fact i've played SH3 far more then i have ever played SH4), or maybe it's because while i love WW2 submarines in general, I'm not a devoted lover of uboats. Though, don't get me wrong here, i'm about as read up on Uboats as I am on fleet boats, I'm just not a fanboy.

But whatever it is, something REALLY hinders my enjoyment of SH3. I think its a combination of dated graphics, and really long loading times. With GWX, expect a 5 minute wait every time you load a game. Although, I've always had this issue with SH3 in general. I would sit there and stopwatch how long it took to load a game. Drove me nuts.
