There was something extremely immersive about AOD. I'm not sure exactly what it was, probably the radio messages ( that were relevant! ) had a lot to do with it. Sometimes I dream that I walk into a store a see a shiny box that says Aces Of The Deep II... oh and SHIII still rocks
