- but your rudder works, right?
Perhaps you could join forces with skipper Jack Cutter if he's still in the vicinity....

Stuck or stranded! I'm shocked!

For photos lock on target with Obs-scope and use button on the command bar.

I headed out after a refit and ran into a convoy so I saved and went all out.

Wiped out the lot of 'em and was lucky to be left only stranded but with heavy casualties.

Alas, I called and called but no one came

Yeah rudder works, both surfaced and underwater.. I've managed to move a bit by diving - ahead flank - surface but if i need to use it to get back to Java it'll be damn long trip..

I saw somewhere that having healthy crew members in command helps if you can't dive.. Can someone cofirm this or is it just good luck and abusing bugs?

About the photos... Both carriers are lting in the bottom now.. Little aggression came in when I was unable to move

thanks for help

Forgive me if this seems like a silly question but, did you activate your damage control team? Also, what mods (if any) are you running?
I'm not absolutely certain about this but, if even one of your deisel engines is damaged, I think you're kaput.

Yes I have my damage control team, thou I don't have maximum amount of members in it to secure other stuff (because I already lost 5 members in destroyer attack). I don't have any mods because I want to first play at least one career in vanilla and yet I haven't faced any big reasons/bugs to get any mods.

Is there any ways to get diesel engine which is epically damaged repaired without limping to some port first? I consider my position as safe as possible because Manila trait was heavily mined so at meast very big ships will have a problem in getting in there..

Are you making any speed at all. Also, if you save and reload the damage screen will clear, but damage remains. SH4 is built off SH3 which uses two engines, even though it shows having four, we really have two. The damage zones are poorly done in stock, you can often lose engines, rudders, planes and just get stuck, most megamods correct these issues.
If damage isn't clearing, probably destroyed.

Some go back and edit saved files to repair.

Take it like a man....start a new career.

No, I'm totally still, the propellers aren't moving at all when I'm surfaced. Starting a new career wouldn't be a big issue since I've only done 2 missions now in the Asiatic fleet career.. I just don't want to lose my boat and my crew which includes Jake F. Skywalker
