One reason IMHO is the fact that due to the freedom of the press everyone is often quite aware of what goes on behind the scenes and add to that the rising levels of social deprevation and the rise in working class expectations it doesn't suprise me people can become a little resentful. I sometimes ponder the following crazy/absurd hypothetical situation: The armed forces are given conflicting orders from both the reigning monarch and the Queens First Minister (Prime Minister).....who would they obey? I know who I would obey. |
