Another thought as I delve into the depths again. In searches for some of the older simulations I've heard the ones that are easier to find are of a european version. Obviously since I live in California I want an english version, but where to find these older sims?
What is wrong with a european version? |

The European versions of dangerous waters might have some (reconcilable) issues with language conversions, as well as some popular mods out right now.
I can attest to the fact that Dangerous Waters runs fine on Windows 7 (64 bit here), and I distinctly remember getting fleet command to work on Windows Vista a long while back, but there were some issues with the in game video or something like that. Your best bet at finding these titles is to look online. In fact, I think the Subsim store has some of those titles: http://www.subsim.com/store.html Just scroll down a bit past the Silent Hunter stuff.
