Well, I don't think HD4000 series is DX11.
 Come to think of it, Metro2033 had an issue too: rather than crash though, the in-game overlay simply doesn't work with DX11. Might just be that combo: DX11+Steam overlay. (GTX460 1GB, Win7 64b, tried both 258.96 and 260.89)
