Thanks for pointing that out. Ever since I first discovered Alexandre Dumas' Musketeers quintology and the real history of that period it has always been my habit to pronounce it 'Colbair'.

"colbert" in french is pronounced "colbair", i.e. with a silent T.
I presumed that is the effect he is trying for since he pronounces it in the french manner.

did you actually WATCH his "testimony"? he came down on the Democrats pretty hard a couple of times. pay special attention to the 4:41 mark to see just how much they care to listen to him.... or anyone for that matter.

It actually doesn't matter what he said, it's the fact that he was performing his TV act when he should have been there to testify in an official government proceeding. It's the same as doing it on the witness stand in court! IMO they should have charged him with Contempt of Congress and tossed his butt in jail.
