Isn't alimony where you pay a woman not to live with you?

Or that could just be a hooker, probably cheaper in the long run - and less earache!

Yea I think those statitistics are a little screwy.

For instance I would bet that at least 50% of pepole whom have been divorced or widowed currently have a 'partner' and are not technically 'single'.

Perhaps it's because I am young as I have been told, but I intend to never marry, quite happy dating for a while and about the 6 month point, maybe before that, go our seperate ways.Working at a law firm I have seen how messy a divorce can be.I will be damned before I go to law school, get into my career and then have to give some woman a good chunk of my money if we split up.Relationships get rather boring to me anyway. Not for me

Don't tell me that. Being alone is the whole point.

Haha, true that. Been single for... umm.. 1½ years now or so, I think and can't really say I miss anyone in my life at the moment. Tho, that'll of course change in a heartbeat if I happen to find the 'right one'.
