Unfortunately I don´t have a repaint of U-181 or any other IX D2.

I only have two shots of U-862, a IX D2 commanded by Jürgen Oesten, returning from patrol...
Yes! Yes! That will do fine!

How long would such a paintjob take you?
I can ship you a box of the finest, danish beer, if that may help you?!

Hi Jan Kyster,

because it´s raining today I spend a bit of time on reworking an exisiting
IX D2 texture set, originally done by a guy called Oak Groove.
I changed the basic colour to make it look more bleeched-out and added some stains, scars and spots. Once finished, I hope it looks like U-861 shown in the two photos above. I´ll try to add the jumping panther symbol, too.

This is how it looks at the moment:

I´ll continue on the paintjob if I can find the time.
Any comments or hints are much appreciated!

Beste Grüße, Kurfürst

P.S.: I´ll get back to you regarding the Danish Beer!

Cheers to rainy days!

Very delicate paintjob! In my book some the finest art, I've ever seen.
And surely a boat I would love to take around the globe, so hope you can find the time!

Any time, friend! Just drop me a PM with an address for where to ship it.
With the combined forces of The Royal Danish Postal Service and Deutsche Post, you should have it the next day!
