Excellent card. 470/480 are awesome too, I'll take your word for it that they aren't that hot or hungry, but they're a bit pricey. 460 really hit the mark.

Normally I'd agree 520 should (just) cut it, but I'm running some extra gear; 4 HDs total, add in sound-card...

It's the aging that worries me the most though. Running 2.5 years, often 24hrs a day, a PSU loses quite a bit of power over time.

same... had the same worry. (mine usualy runs 10 to 13 hrs a day tho)

Well a small change in video card
the GTX 460 768mb they only could get at the moment was going to cost me a 448 €

thats too much I want to spend on a video card so had to pick something different.

So this is what I get now

Intel Quad core Q9400
4Gb Ram
Asus motherboard
Asus HD5850 1Gb ATI card (my first ATI

)

total price 759€
