Until I decided to head back the exact same route to home when out of the fog a large enemy task force consisting of a Carrier and some destroyers were directly in front coming at high speed! I had not much time. I salvoed my 4 torps and hit the emergency dive but ended up hitting the carrier damaging my periscope and radio. As I floated down damaged I heard the reports. Torpedo contact 3 times. Apparently the Carrier burst into flames when one torp and then my sub hit it. I got 2 destryers and a badly damaged carrier. When the destroyers left I surfaced and tried to finish off the carrier with the deck gun. Fat chance! It attracted a destroyer and now I'm submered and trying to get away. WHEW!! I had to save the game.
You can only end your patrol in the docks wich have a submarine logo instead of the regular anchor
