I guess we are lucky they got jail time. I am surprised that they got more than an ASBO and a stern talking to, these days.

These two criminals killed two people. The grandfather and the little girl. What kind of life will this girl have now?

This seemed like murder. Perhaps not First Degree, but certainly Second Degree which should get you at least 20.

The purpose of jail terms is to remove threats to our society. I can not think of anything that would be a greater threat to society than these two criminals.
