This sickens me

Reading the newspaper I came across this article:

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...-for-8yrs.html

8 yrs....:nope:
They basicly murder this pensioned man seen by his 3 yr grandaughter by thinking it's fun to beat up random people and those scumbags get 8 fricking yrs between the two??!

honestly, where the hell has justice gone to?
I would jailed those scumbags for at least 40 years each!

I guess the point is that they were 14 and 15. It changes things, I would say.

Judge Stephens caged Elcock in a detention centre for four-and-half years and Lyzai for three-and-a-half years — though they are likely to be out next year on licence having already spent 325 days on remand.

when i was 14 i knew well better than to run up and slap the **** out of a random stranger.

these guys murdered this man, in cold blood, it was premeditated... i would have pushed for the death penalty if it were my case.

no room in jail for scum like them, just cull them out of society:x

papa_smurf 07-26-10 12:51 PM

Thats our justice system for you:nope:

I think you're all being too harsh on these poor misunderstood boys. I think they should be allowed out now on probation.

In Jimbuna's custody.

Look on the bright side...

Had they been coppers, they'd have got off scott-free. (yes, this is a loaded statement)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8597217.stm (perhaps not so bad)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-10723274 (travesty of justice imo)
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/f...inquiries.html (more bad news)

http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/ge...ng-raoul-moat/ (reason to be concerned?)

http://search.bbc.co.uk/search?order...all&go=toolbar (just be glad you ain't a brazilian electrician)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Charles_De_Menezes - read this wiki article... some of it is most disturbing.
I remember at the time the vitriolic bile in the press and on another forum I visit, and the smears in the media and police statements. A most unpleasant spectacle of my compatriots to behold.

Aye, rgr that Steve...I can think of quite a few things to do with them whilst passing the next 25 years away http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/6...29190fjwl3.gif

Yet another shining example of the British judicial system in operation :nope:

You'll only see any tangible change in sentencing if there is a concerted/lengthy campaign of violence, rape and murder against the families of our judges or politicians.

Sadly....the public appear to be expendable.

With an adult action should come adult responsibility.

A teenager (it's not like they are 7 or 8, after all) that does this is "broken."

Lock them up, and throw away the key.

I guess we are lucky they got jail time. I am surprised that they got more than an ASBO and a stern talking to, these days.

These two criminals killed two people. The grandfather and the little girl. What kind of life will this girl have now?

This seemed like murder. Perhaps not First Degree, but certainly Second Degree which should get you at least 20.

The purpose of jail terms is to remove threats to our society. I can not think of anything that would be a greater threat to society than these two criminals. :nope:

No, HunterICX, it does not sicken me, it angers me. :yep:

Biggles 07-26-10 08:16 PM

This angers me, sickens me, and saddens me. Dear God, what a revolting story.

Snestorm 07-26-10 08:23 PM

Ain't multiculturalism, and open borders, just the greatest thing?

Wake up, people!

You aren't really serious are you?

Multiculturalism and open borders have absolutely nothing do do with the actions of a bunch of young thugs. To suggest otherwise says more about you than it does about them.
