I answered your post in the "fuel problems" thread.
Basically you do NOT have to complete Blockade of Germany to move on to Norway. Now I do know you have to complete the mission leading up to Operation Drumbeat if you want to take that mission. But that is much later in the campaign. |

Good question...I dont know the answer to. I think you have to complete all objects for that part of the campaign to be considered a success. Example: Blockade of German has 3 parts to it... Coastal shipping (50k tons), British Supplies (100k tons), and the 5 AMC and 1 Carrier. I think you have to finish all of these for Blockade of Germany to be considered a success (which is dumb IMHO).

So just been playing this mission, swung by the Loch, big help.
Got 2 at anchor, as I was leaving another spawned and started making its way out to sea, and as I broke out into open sea another was anchored just off the coast to the west, but... ..it took me a couple of go's to figure out why some of the ships I was sinking weren't counting... ..Spot the difference between these two Rawalpindi Armed Merchant Cruisers: Which one should you be sinking? There are 2 main differences, (and NO, 1 of them is not the funnel smoke ![]() ![]() |

The AMC has a pair of (3?) inch deck guns.
it also flies the RN ensign rather than the merchant one... ie: A is the right one. Last edited by chappyj; 08-01-10 at 01:45 AM. |
