I'm not sure if this is the solution to your problem (In fact, I don't quite understand what you mean with this: "but the map is a smaller strip not covering the main window; it is unworkable.") But I used to have a problem with the mission editor not using the full screen. It was always just a bit too small, most noticeable when there is a properties window open. I always had to shift it up to be able to reach the cancel or ok button. Well, somebody made an edit on the mission editor program and this worked for me:

Yes the problem is solved, and with a simple .bat file in an elegant way
ren d3d9.dll _d3d9.dll Sh3MissionEditor ren _d3d9.dll d3d9.dll with running this script you need not to rename it yourself (others found out themselves I'm sure). Only a rectangular map in the left corner appeared in the main window. I can recall the problem you mension where the 'accept' and 'cancel' button of the properties window were too low to be clicked. This doesn't happen anymore with a larger resolution screen, so I don't seem to need the patched editor. But thanks. Last edited by Kristian2; 07-05-10 at 07:29 AM. |
